Teeling’s quality requirements are based on BRC standards and our production locations meet this certifying body’s strict requirements. BRC certifications guarantee optimum hygiene and food safety in all our facilities. Every recipe is developed to ensure a safe, nutritionally-sound and tasty product that meets international FEDIAF (European Pet Food Industry Federation) and AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials) requirements.

Skilled in adapting our products to your retail formula and listening carefully to your specific requirements, we really engage with you to devise the very best in category management, shelf layout and packaging options. Teeling & Sustainability
Sustainability is a high priority for us. We manage our energy use responsibly and have invested in a range of energy-saving solutions both within production and in our offices. We demonstrate our corporate social responsibility by holding the right product certifications and the fact that we are the only pet food company in the Netherlands to produce organic and MSC-certified pet food. We’re also continuously searching for alternative and sustainable raw materials, such as insect meal as a natural source of protein. Teeling Petfood also provides various supported employment services with assignments, for example for product packaging.
Product innovation
New product development is our key focus. This enables us to stay ahead in a constantly moving market. We identify trends and translate them into products. This way we always have an appealing offer available for all our customers.
To ensure the success of our products in the market, it is important that they are based on research and development. That is why our team of nutritionists develop new products in our laboratory.We work together with suppliers who use carefully selected ingredients to create perfectly balanced end products.
In addition to all the product innovations, we also innovate continuously in other areas such as production methods, business processes and logistics.

About us
We produce dog and cat food, including sausages and wet food in aluminium trays, at Teeling Petfood in Heerhugowaard and Hoogeveen on a daily basis. Everyone is dedicated to working together as a team. Our lines are short and collegiality is high.We joined forces in 2022 to become part of United Petfood, which offers many advantages to our customers.
